Fathers Of Girl Scouts To Clear Site For Camp
If you’re a father of a daughter and that daughter happens to be a Brownie or a full-fledged Girl Scout—you’re wanted!
Tomorrow.
Fathers of that description are being recruited today by Girl Scout headquarters to help prepare the site of the Girl Scout’s Camp Hilltop a few miles outside the city off Huron River Drive.
Specifically, the work to be done is the removal of an old house foundation and the pouring of concrete for the lodge foundation. Charles Barclay, Camp Hilltop chairman, will direct the work.
Building trades apprentices plan to start actual construction of the lodge May 25.
