PLANE SALVAGED AFTER LAKE PLUNGE: This light, pontoon-equipped plane was only slightly damaged when it flipped over, nose-down, as it skimmed the waters of Whitmore Lake yesterday noon. Both the pilot, Robert A. MacVicar, and a passenger, Arthur Nelson, both of Ann Arbor, climbed to safety on a nearby raft. Righted with the assistance of boatmen who saw the accident, the plane is being towed ashore by Hyatt Krasny of Whitmore Lake.
