Mrs. Eliza M. Walsh

Mrs. Eliza M. Walsh, 81 years old, widow of Patrick J. Walsh, died early this morning at her home, 515 Detroit St., after an illness of seven weeks.
She was born June 3, 1867, in County Kildare, Ireland, a daughter of John and Mary Deegan Bryne.
She was married in Ireland in May, 1887, coming to this country shortly afterwards and making her home in Ann Arbor, where she lived the rest of her life. Mr. Walsh died 23 years ago.
Mrs. Walsh was a member of St. Thomas Church, the Altar Society, and Maccabee's.
Surviving are six sons, Patrick J. of Houston, Tex., John, William and Edward of Ann Arbor, and Arnold and James of Midland, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Lelling and Mrs. Leo J. Ritz, both of Ann Arbor; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Morhardt of Ann Arbor; and several nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, Mrs. Mary Chatterton and Frances Walsh, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.
