Armen Cleaners Building Addition
Construction has started on a new 1,200 square foot addition to the processing plant of Armen Cleaners at 630 S. Ashley St.
The new section of the cleaning plant will be used to house an additional $5,000 worth of machinery and equipment. The building itself, of concrete block, will cost an estimated $6,000, and will extend back to Mosley St. Albert Duckek is the contractor.
Michael Avasharian, manager of of the business, said that when the addition was finished, around the end of November, the firm expected to employ several more employes to augment the present staff of 15.
