Mrs. Hannah Baxter

Mrs. Hannah Bird Baxter, 85, widow of William L. Baxter and formerly of 333 E. Catherine St., died yesterday afternoon at the Arnold Convalescent Home, Detroit, where she had made her home for the past six years.
Mrs. Baxter was born Dec. 18, 1863, in Kingston, Ont., and came to Ann Arbor at the age of 18. She had been a resident here until going to the Arnold home.
She married Mr. Baxter in 1883. He died Nov. 22, 1934.
Mrs. Baxter is survived by one son, George of Detroit; and one sister, Mrs. James McFern of Syracuse, N. Y.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday morning at the Muehlig Chapel, Rev. Roger A. Treet of Detroit officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
