Long Illness Fatal To Mrs. W. F. O'Hara
Mrs. Ellen M. O’Hara, 70, widow of William F. O’Hara, died this morning in her home at 500 Packard St. after a long illness.
Mrs. O’Hara was born April 28, 1878, in Brooklyn, Mich., a daughter of James and Ellen Baldwin Peters. She resided in Ann Arbor for the past 30 years, coming here from Battle Creek. Her husband died in 1944.
A graduate of Albion College, Mrs. O’Hara was a member of the First Methodist Church. She was formerly associated in the real estate business here with Mrs. Ada M. Gustine, retiring 12 years ago because of ill health.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Wessinger of Granger Ave. and Mrs. R. H. Iland of Columbus, O.: three sons, Robert B. O’Hara of Carolyn St., Paul W. O’Hara of Plainfield, N. J., and Ralph J. O’Hara of Detroit; one brother, Seward Peters of Greenville, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Thursday afternoon in the Muehlig Chapel, with Dr. James Brett Kenna officiating. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park[.] Friends may call at the chapel.
