George Davis Ends 25 Years With Park Department

George A. Davis of 3697 Stone School Rd. retired today from the Ann Arbor Park Department after 25 years of continuous service.
For the past 10 years his work assignments have been at West Park. He was born in Macomb county and came to Ann Arbor from Mt. Clemens 26 years ago.
The veteran city employe was 71 on Jan 10. He is retiring because of ill health.
Fifty years ago he was married to the former Mary Trombley. The couple has seven children, Arthur of Brooklyn, Edward, Louis and Lloyd of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Joseph Martin, Mrs. Ida Trombley and Mrs. Marian Quackenbush, all of Ann Arbor.
Davis is a member of the Grace Bible Church.
