Reburial Services For Cpl. Alvis R. Crabb To Be Held Tomorrow

Military services for Cpl. Alvis Roland Crabb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Ruffins of 562 S. Seventh St., will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon at Washtenong Memorial Park.
Cpl. Crabb was killed in Casablanca in an airplane crash on Aug. 26, 1944.
He enlisted in the Army Air Force in July, 1942. He then attended a technical school at Scott Field, Ill., a radio school at Kansas City, Mo., and completed a course of instruction at the Ferrying Division Air Transport Command, Nashville, Tenn., before assignment to ferrying duty on the Atlantic as radio operator.
He was born Aug. 30, 1916, and graduated from Ann Arbor High School. At the time of his enlistment he was enrolled in the University's College of Engineering. While in Ann Arbor he was a member of the Young Men's Christian Association and an amateur photographer.
Cpl. Crabb is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Ruffins; four brothers, Richard and Louis Ruffins of Ann Arbor. Pfc. Stanley Ruffins, stationed at Roswell Air Force Base, N. M., and James Crabb of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. John Shuck of Los Angeles, Mrs. Wilford Marshall of Detroit and Mrs. B. E. Miller of Ann Arbor.
The services tomorrow will be conducted by members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel until 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
