Mrs. Hildinger Will Observe 90th Birthday
Mrs. Charles Hildinger of Dexter, formerly of Ann Arbor, will celebrate her 90th birthday tomorrow.
Born in Detroit on April 17, 1859, the former Emily Katharine Dold [moved] to a homestead at Lodi Plains with her family when she was a young child. The homestead is now occupied by Mrs. William Dold, the widow of Mrs. Hildinger’s brother.
She was married to Gottlieb Beuhler in 1882 and they lived in Freedom township until his death in a well accident. With her son, Herman R. Beuhler, she moved to Ann Arbor in 1898 and lived here until 1915 when she married the late Mr. Hildinger and went to Bridgewater.
Mrs. Hildinger has lived in Dexter for the past six years. In addition to her son, who is associated with the city engineer’s office here, she has two grandsons, Robert Beuhler of Birk Ave. and Lt. Ralph H. Beuhler, who is on Army duty in Saipan. She also has three grandchildren. Her sisters, who live in Ann Arbor, are Mrs. Edward Staebler of S. Main St. and Mrs. F. W. Bigalke of Haven Ave.
