Plan Remodeling For Hutzel Shop
Remodeling work has started at the Hutzel Shop at 301 S. Main St. as the firm makes plans for a new front on E. Liberty St., and the addition of one third more space at the rear of the present store.
The additional space will be obtained when a partition is taken out separating the dress store from the Kellogg Corset Shop at 110 E. Liberty St. The latter store will go out of business unless a new site can be located.
The new section of the Hutzel Shop is expected to be ready for use by the end of August. The work includes the creation of an alteration room in the basement. Estimated construction costs amounts to approximately $12,000 including new fixtures and furniture.
