Spudnut Shop To Be Moved Five Blocks
The Spudnut Shop at 622 E. Liberty St. will close Labor Day weekend and move to 122 E. Liberty St.
W. A. Krause, owner of the business, reports that the shop, which formerly housed Kuohn’s Clothing Store, is being extensively remodeled and will include a soda fountain. Improvements, including a new front and interior equipment, will cost approximately $2,000.
The store premises presently used by the Spudnut Shop will be taken over by the Kenmore Restaurant. Kuohn’s has already moved to new quarters across the street.
