Local Coeds Elect Gwen Calvert
Gwen Calvert of 626 N. Fourth Ave. has been elected president of the Ann Arbor Girl's Club at the University.
The club, composed of freshmen women from the Ann Arbor area, meets on Tuesday night at the Michigan League. It was organized to plan a social program for the members and to give the town girls representation in Women’s student government on campus.
Members of the executive board assisting Miss Calvert are Marjorie Nungester of 2109 Tuomy Rd.. Bonnie Sinkule of 384 Orchard Hill Dr., Shelley Stromatt of 805 McKinley Ave., Lynn Kimpton of 1000 E. Ann St., and Mary Ann Bielman of 1002 Cornwell Pl.
