MRS. MCHENRY IS MARRIED TO SALEM PASTOR

SALINE—Mrs. Hilda McHenry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Niethammer of Saline, was united in marriage to Rev. A. G. Wacker, pastor of the Salem Lutheran Church, in a ceremony Sunday afternoon in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Rev. H. L. Engel officiated at the service which was followed by a reception at the bride’s home.

Mrs. Ed Simkins of Detroit, sister of the bride, and Rev. S. E. Westendorf of Mornoe, Rev. Mr. Wacker’s brother-in-law, attended the couple.

Rev. Mr. Wacker’s sons, Arthur and John Wacker, seated the guests and his brother, Prof. Carl Wacker of Kenosha, Wis., was the organist.

For her marriage, the bride chose a forest green satin suit. She wore a matching hat and carried a bouquet of autumn flowers. Mrs. Simkins was attired in a plum colored satin suit with a matching hat. She carried a small bouquet of fall flowers.

A graduate of St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, the new Mrs. Wacker owned and operated Saline General Hospital from 1933 until Oct. 1.

The couple will live at 7411 Scio Church Rd. after Nov. 1.
