GRETA WEAVER, ROBERT WATTS WED IN CHAPEL

Greta Jeanne Weaver and Robert L. Watts were united in marriage Saturday afternoon in Dr. Inez Wisdom’s Chapel St. Francis of Assissi on Packard Rd.

Rev. Ellsworth E. Koonz, curate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, read the service, which was followed by a reception for 100 guests at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. M. Weaver of W. Liberty St.

Wearing a princess styled gown of satin brocade, the bride carried a bouquet of white baby chrysanthemums and white roses, centered by an orchid. The bouquet was framed with white maline.

Veil Edged In Lace

The bride’s gown was accented with lace insertions and the long train was edged in lace. Her fingertip veil, bordered with imported lace, fell from a lace tiara of orange blossoms and seed pearls. She was given in marriage by her father.

Barbara Weaver was her sister’s only attendant wearing a satin gown in Copenhagen blue. She wore matching mitts and a satin tiara of blue flowers from which fell a shoulder-length blue veil. Her bouquet, framed in pink maline, was composed of yellow baby chrysanthemums and carnations and pink rose buds.

Patricia Charron of Gardener Ave., carried the bride’s train. She was attired in pale pink taffeta and a pink feather tiara. Her miniature bouquet was like the honor maid’s.

Attended Bridegroom

Charles Droste of Flint attended Mr. Watts as best man.

At the reception, Mrs. Oscar Bucholz of Whitmore Lake, aunt of the bride, served punch and Mrs. Lee Fletcher of E. Hoover Ave. and Mrs. Thomas Van Den Bosch of Whitmore Lake, also aunts of the bride, served the cake.

Mrs. Paul Bucholz of Fountain St., another aunt of the bride, was in charge of the guest book, while Lynn Charron of Gardner Ave. assisted in serving the guests.

For going away, the bride chose a gray suit with navy accessories and the orchid from her bridal bouquet.

A graduate of Ann Arbor High School, the bride is employed at the Ann Arbor Bank. Mr. Watts, son of Mrs. A. L. Watts of Talahassee, Fla., is employed with the Ann Arbor Public Works. He served four years in the Army and was stationed in Hawaii.

The newly weds will live in Ann Arbor.
