Architects Will Study Building Code Unification

Unification of building codes in Michigan will be studied by a special committee authorized yesterday by directors and officers of the Michigan Society of Architects.

Prof. Ralph Hammett of 1425 Pontiac St., at whose home the board members met, was named chairman of the code study group.

Alden Dow of Midland, president of the society, set up the committee so the state organization could recommend code changes and aid communities with building code problems.
