Herbert N. Hetchler
Hoover Ball Employe
Lived Here 45 Years
Herbert N. Hetchler, 50, of 910 Willow St., died Saturday afternoon in University Hospital following a long illness.
Born on Sept. 13, 1899, in Salem township, Mr. Hetchler lived here for the past 45 years. Prior to his illness he was a machine operator at the Hoover Ball & Bearing Co.
Mr. Hetchler was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He married Dorothy Van Tuyle of Clinton on Feb. 1, 1923. She survives.
Mr. Hetchler also leaves a son, Sgt. Carl Hetchler, stationed with the U. S. Army on Guam; three daughters, Mrs. William Folske, jr., Mrs. James Miller and Mrs. Charles Gray, jr., all of Ann Arbor; two grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Moore of Ann Arbor; and a sister, Mrs. Walter G. Jameson of Peoria, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Muehlig Chapel, Rev. Walter M. Brandt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
