F. E. Breitenwischer Was Life-Long Resident Of Freedom Township MANCHESTER - Frank E. Breitenwischer, 72, a life-long resident of Freedom township, died in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, yesterday afternoon. He was active in running the family farm at 12701 Pleasant Lake Rd. until taken ill about three and a half months ago. He was born Dec. 19, 1877, a son of the late Henry and Olive Esch Breitenwischer. Mr. Breitenwischer was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church at Rogers Corners and also of the Church Brotherhood. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Flora Luckhardt of Manchester, and Mrs. Ida Frey, who with her husband, George Frey, worked the family farm with him. Also surviving is one brother Benjamin, of Freedom township. A prayer service will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the home, followed by funeral services at 2 o'clock at St. John's Church. Burial will be in Oakgrove Cemetery at Manchester with Rev. John Fontana officiating. The body will lie in state at the church on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Friends may call at the residence prior to that.
