Was Former Coal
Dealer At Manchester

MANCHESTF;P. — Philip J. Henzie, 70, a former coal dealer and grain elevator operator here, died late Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marie McNulty of 607 Frank St., Adrian.
Born in Manchester township on Nov. 2, 1879, he was a son of the late Michael and Margaret O'Grady Henzie.
He married Catherine Hayes on Feb. 26, 1907. She died on May 27, 1949.
Mr. Henzie lived in Manchester for many years before moving to Clinton in 1937. He returned to Manchester to live with his daughter on Aug. 1, 1948.
He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church of Clinton, and of the Holy Name society.
Besides Mrs. McNulty, he leaves another daughter, Mrs. Ardis Scheid of Manchester; four grandchildren; a brother, William of Brooklyn, Mich.; and three sisters, Mrs. Waldo Healy of Chicago, and Mrs. Armand Boutheller and Mrs. Sidney Riedel, both of Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery here.
The Rosary was recited at 8 o'clock last night at the Jenter Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home.
