YPSILANTI - Cyril Lamb, 57, correspondent for The Ann Arbor News and the Detroit News, died at his home, 309 Ballard St., early yesterday. He had been ill continuously since 1946.

As a reporter-photographer, Mr. Lamb prepared many exclusive newspaper stories for both papers in the two decades preceding his illness.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1893, in Republic, Mich., a son of Dr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Lamb.

Mr. Lamb came to Ypsilanti with his mother in 1913, following the death of his father. He was married to the former Ruth E. Peterson in Ypsilanti on Aug. 3, 1947.

He is survived by his wife and a cousin.

Mr. Lamb was graduated from Republic High School and later attended Cleary College here. For a number of years he had been a commercial photographer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Moore Funeral Home here, conducted by Rev. W. Clyde Donald. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
