Northfield Township Farmer Succumbs
Eldee Hunt, 60, Northfield township farmer, died Saturday night at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He lived at 6883 Nollar Rd.
Mr. Hunt was born June 8, 1890, at Cohoctah, a son of Edward and Achsah Parrish Hunt, and came to Washtenaw county in 1906. He was married June 21, 1924, to Georgia Halsal of Ann Arbor. The couple had lived at the Nollar Rd. address for nine years.
Surviving are his wife and five daughters, Mrs. Charles Hendrick of Jackson, Mrs. Elwin Himbaugh of Whitmore Lake, Mrs. Bertha Fletcher of Ann Arbor, and Miss Leota and Miss Jewell Hunt, both at home. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Davey of Weidman and Mrs. Harry Butler of Pontiac.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Muehlig Chapel, with Rv. Cora Pennell of Salem officiating. Burial will be in Leland Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
