Redeemer Lutheran To Hold Two Services
Redeemer Lutheran Church here will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the church-school building dedication in morning and evening services tomorrow.
Prof. Werner Franzmann of the Michigan Lutheran Seminary at Saginaw will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service. The mixed choir will present “To My God I Would Be Singing.”
Rev. Gerhard Press of Wayne, first vice-president of the Michigan district of the Wisconsin Synod, will preach at the 8 p.m. service. The children’s choir will sing "Praise Ye The Lord.”
Redeemer Lutheran Church was organized here as a mission church by three families. The church-school building was dedicated on July 7, 1946. The congregation, now numbering 36 families, maintains a parochial school.
