Local Family Dies
Miss Elizabeth Howard, 83, member of a pioneer Ann Arbor family, died this morning at her home at 810 Arch St. after an illness of several months.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1867, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Howard. She was a lifelong resident of the city and was a member of the First Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Ellen L. Howard, with whom she made her home; a brother, Robert A. of Ann Arbor; a nephew and two nieces. Another brother, Mark of Ann Arbor, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 4:15 Saturday afternoon at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Eugene Ransom officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
