SALEM - Abraham B. VanAken, 84, of 9684 Six Mile Rd., former Salem township treasurer for six years, died Tuesday morning in Atchison Hospital in Northville following a heart attack.
He was born on March 3, 1867, and was employed by Standard Oil Co. in Detroit and Northville for 25 years.
