Mrs. Willis Green
Former Resident Of Clinton Passes
CLINTON—Mrs. Rose Green, widow of Willis Green and a long-time resident of Clinton, died yesterday afternoon at the Bell Nursing Home in Clare, where she had been a patient for several years.
Mrs. Green was born June 28, 1870, in Manchester, a daughter of David and Kathryn Alvord. She was a member of the local Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star. Her husband died in 1939.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Celia McDermott, and one brother Obed Alvord, both of Clinton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Proctor Funeral Home with Rev. H. Vaughn Whited officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
