Mothers breathed sighs of relief today as thousands of Ann Arbor school children left for school, even if, as in many cases, it was only for registration. In top picture, youngsters are approaching Northside Public School. In bottom picture, a lot of first graders seem to have the answer for Sister Benedict Mary out at the new St. Francis of Assisi School. The four-room parochial school opened its doors for the first time today.
