Long Illness Fatal To Native of Germany
Richard E. Roberts, 81, of 11 Ridgeway Dr. died Sunday at University Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Roberts was born in Germany on June 22, 1871, and came to the United States in 1941. He had lived with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald R. Roberts, since that time.
Besides his son and daughter-in-law, he is survived by another son, Major Claude A. Roberts of London, England, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this morning at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Edward E. Redman officiating. Burial was made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
