Brenner Services
Funeral services for Harold L. Brenner, 23, of 7210 Whitmore Lake Dr., who died yesterday in a train-car collision which took the lives of two others, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home in Ann Arbor.
Mr. Brenner was born on Sept. 4, 1929, in Dearborn, a son of Herman W. and Murilda Glanville Brenner.
He attended the Dearborn High School and joined the Army in April, 1948. After spending two years in Korea, Mr. Brenner was discharged in March, 1952, with the rank of staff sergeant.
During his four years in the service, he was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal, the Korean Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, Good Conduct Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
For the past nine months, Mr. Brenner had been employed as an assembly line operator at the Kaiser-Frazer plant in Willow Run.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Edna, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Brenner of Kitchener, Ont.; and several aunts and uncles.
Officiating at the funeral service will be Capt. Roland A. Quinn of the Salvation Army. Burial will follow in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home.
