Walter B. Harrison

Walter B. Harrison, 67, a caretaker at the Sigma Chi fraternity house for the past 25 years, died suddenly yesterday morning after suffering a heart attack. He lived at 707 N. Main St.
He was born on April 26, 1885, in Springfield, O., a son of William and Mary Zachery Harrison. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and the Ann Arbor Civic Forum.
Surviving are his wife, Emma; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Arnold of Ann Arbor; one step-daughter, Mrs. Marie Smith of Detroit; two step-sons, Homer Allen of Hollywood, Calif., and Richard Allen of Columbus, O.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Charles of Ann Arbor and Henry of New York City; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Clay of Cleveland, O.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Lucille's Funeral Home until 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The body will lie in state from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
