Ann Arbor Man Asks Bet Charge Hearing
John Easley, 52, of 115 E. Ann št., demanded examination on charges of possessing bet memoranda and pleaded not guilty to assault and battery at his municipal court appearance yesterday.
He was released on bonds totaling $750 to appear tomorrow for examination on the bet memoranda charge and trial for the assault and battery...
Ann Arbor police arrested Easley on complaint of Anderson Wise, of 113 E. Ann St., who claimed Easley stuck him with a fork during an argument in a local hotel on March 28. Officers said they found car lottery tickets issued in Detroit and a numbers policy slip on searching Easley.
