Bound To Circuit Court On Gambling Charge
John B. Eəsley. 52, of 115 E. Ann St., was bound over to circuit court following examination in municipal court on a charge of possessing bet memoranda. He is being held on $500 bail for appearance in the higher court on May 19.
A second charge of assault and battery was adjourned to a later date. Complainant on the latter charge is Anderson Wise of 113 E. Ann St., who claims Easley stuck him in the neck with a fork on March 28. Police said they found a numbers policy ticket in Easley's pocket while searching him.
