Herman Klumpp
Lifelong Resident Of Saline Area Succumbs SALINE - Herman Klumpp, 72, a lifelong resident of this area, died last night in Saline General Hospital after a long illness. The family home is as 8150 Dell Rd., in Saline township. Mr. Klumpp was born June 30, 1880, in Lodi township, a son of Adam and Bertha Teufel Klumpp, and was married June 21, 1916, to Minnie Stierle of Saline, who survives him. Other survivors are two brothers, Albert Klumpp of Ann Arbor and John Klumpp, jr., of Lodi; and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Mann of Saline and Mrs. Gordon Baumgartner of Ann Arbor. Mr. Klumpp was a member of the Saline Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and Pittsfield Grange. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Theophil W. Menzel officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
