FIREMEN DEMONSTRATE FOG: As a feature of the 25th annual Fire College being held this week at the University, firemen demonstrated the use of low pressure or "fog" spray yesterday. They set afire a University-owned house at 306 Hill St. Shown here is the smoke billowing forth across the front porch on the building. Firemen described the demonstration as a "success."

FLAMES EXTINGUISHED IN SECONDS: Using a low pressure nozzle, firemen yesterday extinguished four fires in a demonstration of low pressure or "fog" spray. State firemen gathered at the University for a U-M sponsored Fire College watched as the "fog" spray put out the fires in a matter of seconds and with very little water. In all, 107 1/2 gallons of water were used, as compared to an estimated 5,000 gallons for one fire, using the conventional high-pressure equipment.
