Lions Officials To Visit City
Officers and directors of the International Association of Lions Clubs will be guests of Ann Arbor Lions Saturday, with a luncheon, dinner and attendance at the Michigan-Iowa football game scheduled.
Robert T. Ball, president of the Ann Arbor club, said the group will arrive in Ann Arbor at 11 a.m. for a tour of the University campus, to be followed by lunch at the Masonic Temple. After the game there will be a dinner at the Michigan Union, attended by the international guests and Lions from Detroit, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Howell and other cities in this area.
Officers and directors from Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Sweden and from many states will make the Ann Arbor visit preliminary to their fall meeting in Detroit Monday and Tuesday. S. A. Dodge, Detroit industrialist and International Lions president, will head the delegation.
