Hopeful that they'll be able to make the trip to Rome to sing in an international choir boys' congress April 20-25, six St. Thomas choir boys and their director made out passport applications yesterday at the county clerk's office. Because it takes some time to get the passports, it was necessary to do this immediately, although only part of the necessary $5,000 has been raised. They are (left to right) William W. Graf, 11, David F. Meldrum, 13, Joseph A. Tramontin, 13, Albert J. Raboteau, 11, Thomas C. O'Brien, 10, Preston W. Shelton, 12, and their director, Charles H. Clarke. They would be the only United States representatives.
