DEXTER - Mrs. Mary Jane Wyman, 82, who was instrumental in setting up the Dexter Public Library, died yesterday in an Ann Arbor hospital following a long illness.
It was Mrs. Wyman's work, while president of the Dexter Woman's Study Club, that greatly aided the start of the library.
Mrs. Wyman was born in Missouri on July 31, 1871, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Coen. She married Fred Wyman in Detroit and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church and a member of the WSCS of that church.
One son, Say Bettie of Love Park, Ill., survives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Keehn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Anthanasius P. Rickard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
