Constance Lee Stiller was married to Joseph Walker Lloyd of Waukegan, Ill., at 11 a.m. today in St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Msgr. G. Warren Peek read the vows for the couple, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Martin Stiller of W. Huron St. and Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Glen of Waukegan.
The bride wore a crystal white gown of l’Aisance lace with an illusion neckline and a waltz-length skirt of tulle with knife pleats and a wide lace border. She wore a short veil and a tulle headpiece trimmed with seed pearls, and she carried a cascade of white roses and stephanotis.
Mr. and Mrs. Steven J. Parrot of Fort Wayne, Ind., were best man and matron of honor. Mrs. Parrot, the bride’s sister, wore an empire style antique silk dress in a pale gold shade, a small gold-colored straw cap with a veil, and she carried a cascade of talisman roses.
Radford S. Fisher of Toledo and John E. MacDonald of Detroit ushered.
A reception in the form of a noon lunch was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
After a short honeymoon east, the couple will live at 409 Nob Hill Pl. The bride has chosen for traveling a cocoa brown linen sheath dress with a brown and white box jacket, brown and white accessories and an orchid.
Mrs. Lloyd, a graduate of the University Literary College, has been a speech correctionalist in the public schools of East Jackson, Michigan Center and Vandercook Lake. Next fall she is to teach a third grade class in the Willow Village school system. Her sorority is Alpha Gamma Delta.
Mr. Lloyd, a business administration student at the University, belongs to Kappa Sigma.
