Mrs. Agnes White Former Photographer Succumbs At Age 79 Mrs. Agnes L. White, 79, of 910 S. State St. widow of the late Darwin E. White and a former commercial photographer here, died Saturday night in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Born Feb. 23, 1875, on a farm near Belleville, the daughter of John and Anna Marie Perkins, she came to Ann Arbor with her family when she was 18 and had lived here since. After her marriage to Mr. White on May 9, 1899, she was associated with him in the photography studio. She retired in 1947. He died April 11, 1951. Mrs. White, a member of the First Methodist Church, is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Elmer C. Zell of Detroit, and Miss May Perkins and Mrs. Etta White, both of Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill R. Abbey officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
