Lifelong Scio Resident Succumbs At His Home
Bert Laubengayer, 82, lifelong Scio township farmer, died Saturday. He died at the same residence where he was born, 6580 Park Rd.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1873, a son of David and Regina Koch Laubengayer. On Jan. 28, 1897, he married Mary Lang. She survives.
He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Scio township.
Other survivors, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Edgar Jedele of Scio township and Mrs. Lynn Pullen of Belleville, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Wacker officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
