Martin Seitz, Retired Contractor Dies In Hospital
Martin Seitz, sr., 77, a retired carpenter-contractor, died yesterday at St.Joseph's Mercy Hospital after a short illness. He live at 430 S. Fourth Ave.
He was born Sept. 10, 1878, in Saline, a son of Henry and Catherine Warner Seitz. He came to Ann Arbor in 1919, and retired from his carpentry work in 1942. His wife, Florence, died in 1943.
He is survived by a son, Martin, jr., of Ann Arbor; three daughters, Ruth and Esther of Ann Arbor and Florence of Milan; four brothers, David, Paul and Emmanuel of Ann Arbor and John of Long Beach, Calif.' three sisters, Mrs. Carl Sweet, Mrs. Clara Laubengayer and Mrs. Louise Wirth, all of Ann Arbor; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Carl A. Brauer officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
