Former Secretary of Eberbach Firm Dies
Rose M. Rugert, 69, of 332 E. William St., a secretary at Eberbach & Sons Co. here for 35 years, died yesterday morning at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital after an illness of several months.
Born April 11, 1886, in Scio township, she was the daughter of Fred and Agatha Frey Aprill Rugert. She was employed by the Eberbach firm from 1915 until her retirement in 1950.
Miss Rugert was a member of the First Congregational Church, the Evening Group of the church and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Kuehner of Ann Arbor and Mrs. F. J. Wildman of Washington, D. C., and a brother, Fred Aprill of Saline.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Muehlig Chapel, the Rev. Leonard A. Parr officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
The family said that contributions may be made to the polio fund.
