Ypsilanti Woman Dies
At County Hospital
YPSILANTI - Mrs. Nora O. Hamilton, 82, of 520 N. Hamilton St. died Monday at the Washtenaw County Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Hamilton was born April 19, 1873, in Willis, a daughter of Henry and Ellen Darling Bennett. She married Lee R. Hamilton on June 20, 1893, in Ypsilanti. He died Aug. 21, 1955.
She is survived by two sons, H. Glenn of Long Beach, Calif., and Lester B. of Wolverine Lake, Mich.
Mrs. Hamilton was made a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star by the Westport Chapter No. 345 in Kansas City, Mo., in 1936. She was also a member of the Ypsilanti Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Burch officiating. Burial will be in Alban Cemetery in Augusta township. Contributions may be made to the Washtenaw County Infirmary in care of Robert Reynolds. Friends may call at the funeral home.
