Mrs. Nellie C. Walz, 80, widow of the late Christian Walz, formerly living at 410 High St., died Saturday at an Ypsilanti nursing home after an illness of two months.
She was born Jan. 26, 1876, in Pittsfield township, a daughter of Erastus and Francena Shute Cressy. She was married to Mr. Walz on Sept. 2, 1922. He died in 1935.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harold Horton and Miss Mabel Cressy, both of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Muehlig Chapel. Burial will be in Lodi Plains Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after today.
