Jane Coburn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Coburn of Yonkers, N. Y., was married Saturday to Jerome Randall Baird, son of Prof. and Mrs. William P. Halstead of Vinewood Blvd.

The ceremony was performed in the Coburn home by the Rev. Max Daskam of the First Unitarian Church in Germantown, Pa. He also officiated at the marriage of the bride’s parents.

The bride wore a gown of white lace and carried a white orchid with stephanotis. Her maid of honor was Miss Anne Betts of Port Washington, Long Island, N. Y., and William Neil of Cape Breton, N. J., was the best man.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Baird were graduated from the University. After a 10-day holiday in Maine the couple will sail on the Empress of Britain from Montreal for a two-month vacation in Europe.

They will be at home in Ann Arbor at 1000 E. Ann St. after Sept. 15.
