Mr., Mrs. Davis To Celebrate Anniversary

MARRIED 50 YEARS: Mr. and Mrs. Ozias Davis will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a reception from 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow at the Park Ridge Community Center.

Mr., Mrs. Davis To Celebrate Anniversary

YPSILANTI — Mr. and Mrs. Ozias Davis of First Ave. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow with a reception from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Park Ridge Community Center.

The couple was married on Oct. 8, 1906, in Dresden, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Davis’ home town.

Mr. Davis was born in Ypsilanti and has lived here all of his life. He retired last year after being an employee of the city for 25 years.

Mr. Davis is 71 and his wife is 68. Both are members of the Second Baptist Church, of which Mr. Davis is a trustee.

The couple has three children, Mrs. William Hargrave of Monroe St., Mrs. Joseph Walls of First Ave. and Lawrence Davis of Saginaw. There are 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
