IN THE STADIUM: Before a million people crowded into the stadium today, Mrs. Walter Stein (left) and Mrs. Charles Allmand modeled costumes that can easy see them through the day, including luncheon, game, parties and dinner. Mrs. Stein’s blue plaid sheath with a high neckline is by Anne Fogarty, and Mrs. Allmand wears a red crepe dress featuring the new "blouson” bodice. These will be seen at the show, "Fashion Kick-Off,” at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ann Arbor High School.

TWEEDS LEAD THE WAY: Michigan’s
football fans, both women and men, choose tweeds. Mrs. Dale Malcolm wears a green imported Scottish wool tweed by Tailorbrooke. The belted suit is worn with a matching coat and a green velvet enlarged pillbox. Her soft bag is also green velvet. Robert L. Lemmon, of Jacobson's, is her companion. Mrs. Malcolm’s costume will be shown at the Junior Chamber of Commerce Auxiliary fashion show which will feature clothes from Jacobson's and men’s wear from Wagner & Co.

OUR FAIR LADY: A dress of cranberry Forstmann wool is worn by Mrs. Stein. The softly draped sheath has an Empire line satin bow and was designed by Harvey Berin.

NEWS IN NECKLINES: Mrs. Allmand (left) wears a wool jersey and tulle cocktail dress by Marion McCoy with a rhinestone accent at the V-back. A rhinestone-studded tulle floating panel lends 1912 overtones to the costume. Mrs. Dale is wearing a green and blue cocktail dress by Luis Estavez, winner of the Coty Award as the outstanding young designer of the year. Noted for his tricky details, Estavez. here features a draped Chinese neckline.
