Father Of South Lyon Man Dies In Florida
Bishop, 82, died at Deland, Fla.,
Bishop, 2, died at DeLand, Fla., yesterday.
He was born Nov. 21, 1874, at Arlington, O., the son of Isaac and Anastasia Bishop. He was married to Mrs. Mary Mae Creighton at Findlay, O., in 1898. She died in 1944.
He spent most of his life around New Hudson, Mich., but had lived at Crescent City, Fla., for the past decade.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emma Pyke of Lakewood, O., and Mrs. Marjorie Howell of Pinckney; three sons, Lehr of Dearborn, Wilson of New Hudson and Isaac of South Lyon; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Phillips Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Lewis Bender officiating. Burial will be in New Hudson. Friends may call at the funeral home after Wednesday noon.
