SEEING DOUBLE: Teachers at almost every school have the problem of distinguishing between twin students, but at the University it’s the students who find it hard to tell two of their instructors apart. The reason is evident. Elmer (left), and Edward Gilbert, both 26, of Battle Creek are identical twins and both are instructors in the College of Engineering. They hold the same degrees and appointments, share the same office, conduct the same research, teach approximately the same courses and expect to receive their PhD degrees next year.
