SUSPECTED AIRPORT KILLERS: These drawings, made from a witness’ description, are of two men state police at Ypsilanti want for questioning into the Dec. 23 pipe slaying of LeVerne W. Wegener, 41, of Port Huron. Other than the description from the witness, a Dearborn housewife, detectives have uncovered no solid leads in the murder case. The witness said two men followed Wegener from the terminal, and “looked like they were up to no good.” Rewards totaling $1,150 have been offered for information leading to the conviction of the killers. These suspects who “looked enough alike to be brothers,” were described as both about 6 feet tall with “very muscular*’ builds, each 180 to 200-plus pounds, broad faces and in their mid-20’s to early 30’s.
