Courtney L. Brunner
Courtney L. Brunner, 52, of 1730 Charlton Ave. died Monday at the Veterans Hospital.
He was born Aug. 2, 1904, at Fitzgerald Ga., a son of Albert and Josephine L. Jacobs Brunner.
From 1920 to 1924, he served in the Panama Canal Zone. He was in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He came to Ann Arbor in 1931.
On Dec. 21, 1944, he was married to Lulu C. Lutz in Ann Arbor. She survives. He was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He was employed at Larmee Battery and Electric Service Co.
Surviving besides his wife, are two sisters, Mrs. Dewey Rymer of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mrs. C. W. Bayne of Tucson, Ariz., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Staffan-Hildinger Funeral home with the Rev. Walter S. Press officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at the funeral home.
