A spokesman for the Huron Valley Swim Club said today the club has bought about 60 acres of land on Park Rd. just south of Jackson Rd. in Scio township as the site for an outdoor swimming pool it will construct.
The land was bought from Esther and Lois Haeussler.
Plans call for construction to start in the spring and for the pool to be in use next summer.
The club is organized on a limited membership basis.
